1️⃣1️⃣ months ✨ & life with Henry just keeps getting better! He’s obsessed with vacuums, dogs, people watching and bath time 🛁 — but strongly dislikes the chiropractor, running out of food, or getting his haircut 🙅🏼‍♂️. He still only has his 2 bottom teeth, gets into everything 3 feet from the ground, and thinks it’s either hilarious or tragic to be told “no” 😅. I never want to forget how he shakes with excitement when I retrieve him from his nap, when he knows he’s going on a stroller ride, or when @billyfine gets home from work 🙌🏼. Watching him learn and explore is more fun than we could have ever dreamed. How is there only ONE more month until our baby is ONE?! 😭💕

This weekend marks 6 months since we started calling Texas home — and it’s been better (and hotter 🙃) than we could have ever imagined. 🙌🏼

Henry’s morning nap is always disarranged on Sundays. We’re usually rushing in from church, quickly changing him out of his Sunday best, and trying to put him down before he hits the side of delirium that is hard to recover from. Yesterday was no different. But as I anxiously scrambled to get him ready for the nap he clearly would had preferred to take over an hour ago, he sweetly sighed, tucked his little arms in between his chest and mine, and laid his head on my shoulder. He’s been doing this a lot lately. He’s always been a snuggler — but intentionally nuzzling his arms between us is new. And I never want to forget how it feels. I yelled for William to please grab my camera and quickly come take a photo. The poor guy wouldn’t have dared to question this task — he knows I’m completely in denial and wildly emotional these days about Henry approaching one year. I’m suddenly very aware of this whole “time flies” concept that parents often speak of. Which has only deepened my desire to remember everything about these fleeting days with our first born even more. If it’s indeed true that I can’t stop him from growing up — I’m atleast going to do my best to capture the moments that make both time and worry stand still. The moments that make him feel small — safe — loved — mine. The moments where we both feel and know we’re exactly where we’re suppose to be. 🧡

1️⃣0️⃣ months✨ This past month was my favorite by a landslide. I wish I could bottle up 9 month old Henry and keep him forever 😭. He smiles 95% of his awake time. Makes friends everywhere he goes. Waves very enthusiastically with both hands 🙌🏼. Shows excitement with his entire body. Loves books, cars & music. Laughs at the thought of being tickled. Sleeps 15 hours a day. Eats anything you’ll let him. Pulls up on everything he can reach. And likes to mimic any sound or expression you make (except for when it comes to learning sign language 🤪). He gives the biggest hugs, the wettest kisses, and his little 2 teeth grin absolutely. MELTS. us. 💕 Bring on the double digits! 😅
